If you are currently onboard...


Internal Transfer Applications must be submitted to your Human Resources Officer no later than the expiration date of the job posting for consideration. Once the posting expires, it will be closed, and no further applications will be accepted until the next opportunity arises. Please be aware that you are allowed to apply for only one transfer opportunity at a time. 

All candidates will be required to undergo an internal screening process to ensure that all internal transfer applications are evaluated fairly, consistently, and in alignment with the organization's operational needs. This process may include live and/or on-demand video interviews, assessment tests, and other relevant evaluations.

If you meet both the program and job requirements, the Human Resources Officer will coordinate an initial interview, along with any additional assessments that may be required as part of the application process.

Upon completion of the interview process, if you are recommended for transfer by shipboard management, the Human Resources Officer will submit your Internal Transfer Application to Fleet Talent Acquisition on your behalf for further consideration.

You will be notified via email at each stage of the process, including updates on your application status and the final outcome.

Kindly note that any application submitted bypassing the Human Resources Officer will be automatically rejected.

Important Notes


If your application is successful, placement in the new role will depend on availability and the organization's operational needs.

While the Company will make every effort to accommodate your transition into the new role, this may not always be feasible. As a result, you may be required to remain in your current role for one or more assignments until the new position becomes available.

Internal Transfer

The Internal Transfer Program helps teammates explore career changes to different departments within the organization. It is not for getting a higher rank in their current department.
This program lets teammates apply for jobs in other departments, supporting career growth and development across the organization. However, it does not replace the Promotion Policy. Promotions happen within the same department and are decided by Departmental Managers, based on on merit, performance history and teammate's readiness for advancement.

Promotion Path

Occasionally, the Talent Team, together with Shoreside Operations, may open special promotion path opportunities under exceptional circumstances, such as the introduction of a new role or a critical operational need.
All postings are shared through official onboard channels and include clear details on eligibility, application steps, and deadlines. Shortlisted candidates will take part in a structured screening process led by Shoreside Operations.
Final selections are based on merit and alignment with the role.

Stewarding Program

The Stewarding Department Career Progression Program is a way for Stewarding staff to progress within the company, separate from the Internal Transfer Program. Any teammate currently working in the Stewarding department, who meets the program eligibility requirements, may be eligible for an entry-level position in the Rooms Division, Beverage Svc, Restaurant, or Galley departments. As there are limited numbers of positions available, the Stewarding Department Career Progression Program may be suspended should the required number of new positions be reached.
